For all those chess enthusiasts that collect chess games and chess engines, I hope you will find this website interesting and fun to explore. You will have a choice to download and explore over 1,400,000 games from my collection and create or update your own database. Also, you can view my collection of over 1,000 chess engines and their logos.

I fell in love with the chess at my early age, and about age of 12 I developed a habit of collecting chess games from local newspapers, magazines and books that I came across. Habit became a hobby and over the years I was able to collect over 30,000 games manually (literally cutting games from newspapers and gluing them into my collection book). Of course, in last few decades with Internet and high speed modems it became much more easier to collect large amounts of games in very short time.

Chess games are available to be downloaded as PGN files. In order to view chess games from PGN files you are going to need a chess viewer. There are plenty of free chess viewers available on the web. I can recommend Arena, Winboard, ChessPad, Crafty, and ChessX. I also recommend free online chess PGN viewer ChessTempo and free chess database application Scid.

Chess engines section will provide you with the links to the download pages and with some helpful information about their authors. You will also find an assortment of chess engine logos that I have created, plus the collection of all other chess engine logos that I have collected. To be able to play against these chess engines you will need the Graphical User Interface (GUI), some of which I mentioned above (Arena, Winboard, etc.).
